HD 2080 are committed to creating communication solutions for the 20% of people with hidden difficulties to improve their performance at home and at work.

Founder, Kevin Thomson says, "2080partners is a new kind of agency, consultancy and compliance advisory service. Our purpose is simple – to help organisations and their agencies meet the needs of the world's largest unrecognised market, the millions of people with 'hidden' communication disabilities, difficulties and differences."

Communication disabilities and difficulties come in all shapes and sizes from learning, language and literacy problems, such as 'hidden disabilities' like dyslexia and dyspraxia, through to 'minor' problems such as eye strain, which can be caused by reading small font sizes, poor text layout and bright colours on websites.

The Well Adjusted Campaign
Why are so many web sites difficult to read, or impossible to navigate with or without a screen reader? Why is the small print too small to read, too difficult to understand, printed in an unfriendly font, and with an unfriendly colour combination? Sally Hayward headed a 2080partners initiative to improve website design for all in conjunction with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and the British Dyslexia Association.

Visual Impairment

Visual Impairment, can differ widely from person to person. It can range from an ability only to perceive light, to a difficulty seeing moving images, or reading in poor light levels. People with low vision represent the majority of the visually impaired.


Those with a substantial visual impairment that has a substantial and long term adverse affect on the ability to perform day-to-day tasks come within the ambit of the DDA.
